A small group of volunteers who organize hikes around St. John's and the Avalon Peninsula.
Founder
Scott Adams
Scott launched the St. John's Hike Club in January 2025 with a simple goal: get people outside and moving together on the trails around St. John's. What started as a Signal Hill loop with a small crew has grown into an active hiking community with events, sponsors, and a full season of adventures on the East Coast Trail.
President & Hike Lead
Nick Rowsell
Nick leads the crew on the trails — scouting routes, setting the pace, and making sure every hiker gets to the finish line safely. His knowledge of the East Coast Trail keeps our adventures running smoothly from start to finish.
Vice President & Developer
Alex Gaudon
Alex is the club's developer — helping build the club's website and tools that keep the community engaged.

Ethan Crann
Ethan captures the moments that make every hike worth remembering — the views, the laughs, and the hard-earned summits. His photography brings the club's adventures to life and keeps the memories alive long after the boots come off.
Administrator
Maiya Keefe
Maiya handles the stuff that keeps the club connected — partnerships, communications, and all the admin work that doesn't fit neatly into a title. If someone needs to hear back, she's the one making sure they do.

Leah Murphy
Leah runs the club's social media — sharing hike recaps, upcoming events, and snapshots from the trail to keep the community connected and growing.
