Father Troys Trail

Cobbler's Path

Attractions on this popular path include the views from Torbay Point and Red Cliff, the remains of a Second World War battery, and the ruins of a Cold War tracking station. The Pine Tree Line Radar station has been degraded by time, weather, and juvenile recreation, but can be explored with caution. The path has partially board-walked-over wet areas. Whale sightings from the path are likely in the summer season.

This loop trail in St. John's gives you two different experiences in one outing. It's set in Pippy Park and includes a fairly level walk around Long Pond, which is a key spot for local ducks. The other part of the trail is the climb up to the Mount Scio lookout, which involves a long set of stairs and some rocky ground.
